About Lillian M. Varcoe

Lillian M. Varcoe has lived on the West Coast of Canada for most of her life. She’s flown floatplanes throughout the Pacific Northwest for over 20 years and lived on sailboats, sailing the Salish Sea for even longer. She holds a Canadian Special record for being the first woman to fly across Canada, coast to coast, and the first person to do it in a floatplane.

Her writing has appeared in national magazines, both in the U.S. and Canada. This is her first novel. She presently lives on a small Island in the Salish Sea of British Columbia with her husband, raccoons and wild deer.
