About Mandy Seay, RD, LD

Mandy Seay is licensed and registered dietitian specializing in diabetes, weight loss, lipid control and preventive nutrition.

She has a degree in both journalism and nutrition. Additionally, she is a returned Peace Corps volunteer. She lived and served in Ecuador from 2000-2002.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I thought it was easy to read and understand and the author's advice was easy to implement. The book is about making small changes in one's life that lead to a healthier lifestyle. I liked that it is not a diet, but rather a gradual lifestyle change. The information is clear and well-presented and makes sense. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who wants to eat in a healthier way!

I have been struggling with weight loss for the past couple of years and after reading this book, it gave me a whole new perspective about how simple a life-style change really can be without changing the things I like to eat. The author makes it very simple and straight to the point in a way that makes total sense! I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has diabetes or is trying to lose weight. I have been very successful using the tools provided in this book and have lost 17 pounds so far... it is SO exciting!
