About Mattie Slattery

Mattie Slattery was born and grew up in Clarecastle, a village in County Clare in the mid-west of Ireland. He is one of ten children, many loved ones, a father and grandfather. His childhood was uneventful, other than what was common to most children growing up in Ireland in the late nineteen fifties and sixties.

His work life began in his very early teens and it was at this time that he became aware of the need to be able to change and adapt to the challenges of the material world. His life experience has led him to a way of living that has evolved into the guide to peace and contentment described in this book.
