About Yoko Miyamoto

Yoko Miyamoto is an independent scholar who studies the question of cross-cultural understandings and misunderstandings. Yoko has:
Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Keio University (Tokyo, Japan);
Master of Philosophy in History from the University of Manchester, England; and
Doktor der Philosophie in History from the University of Vienna, Austria.
Yoko was a research fellow at the Japan Society for the Advancement of Science, the Divinity School of the University of Chicago, and History Department of Northwestern University, and has published academic articles and translations.
