A Date To Die For
Author: Mary Lee Tiernan
Book Review By: L R Rice 1/2012
After reading “A Date To Die For” I felt the author had taken a somewhat simple and frequently used general plot and created a completely different storyline than I had ever read. The interpersonal relationships between the characters are both casual, and complex and are described without the frequently used, vulgar language, sex, violence, and blood & guts that are often included in books today. What makes this book stand out, is How the author tells the story and brings the reader into the situations that develop.
For me the book started at a somewhat slower pace than I like, but it was not long before I could not set it down. I soon realized the foundation and relationships that were being developed were an essential part that contributed to this very well written book.
A Date To Die For, contains the components of a; thriller, mystery, a who done it, e.s.p.and a hint of supernatural behavior that takes place in mainstream America, in any town, at any time, and will be enjoyed by readers of all age groups.
