Review by: A.M. Sawyer on May 20, 2012 :
I received this for free from the Author in exchange for an Honest review. This is a likable little collection of Poetry, mixing in some humor with mostly emotional topics. I don't believe this warrants the Adult-content rating, just a friendly Advisory to readers in the Synopsis. It does contain Adult Content, but nothing that would be considered explicit.
The Good: As poems are basically strong emotions or situations being described in verse, this does a great job. Also, I can tell that the basics of each poem showed originality and creativity from the Author. One more thing, the Author was very successful in displaying powerful Emotions with some powerful poems.
The Bad: Even though some of the Poems were a great success in describing and expressing Strong Emotions, others fell flat. There were definitely more than a few, including the first one, that tried so hard to show the emotion it was describing, but poor flow and over description made it feel emotionless. Happily, this is only relevant in a small percentage of the poems, but I do suggest the Author change the first poem, as that is one of the culprits.
Overall, I give it a 3.2 out of 5 Stars, I liked it, and some of them made me want to really like it, but than others took it away from me. Thanks and Happy Reading
