About Paul S Huggins

Having been a fan of horror since an early age Paul Huggins has now made the momentous decision to impart his sickest most terrifying thoughts to paper. Paul is currently working on a supernatural thriller, an apocalypse novel and numerous experimental short stories, mainly with apocalyptic themes.
Paul would say zombies are in his blood, but thankfully he is still living.

"The Last Night is Fight Night" is a vignette of a few friends and their last night in The Town. It's not a story in a literary sense, but the type of tale told around a pub table or an outdoor fire. The prose is rich and I'm assuming, written in Mr. Huggins' vernacular. The story has the feel of something told among friends while drowning in pints at a local tavern. You can easily picture yourself inebriated and listening to this tale of drunken debauchery. Worth the price of admission, especially if you enjoy the flavour of working class vernacular. 2 1/2 habaneros

A well worded romp that doesn't pull punches. Paul Huggins captures a raw feel that one rarely has the opportunity to experience in independent publishing: absolute grit with a side of reality thrown in to smack the reader alongside their head.

A great little short read, most people have a few nights to remember for one thing or another in our lifetimes, this is one quite a few can relate to but in different situations, realistic to the point of it reads as though it’s your thoughts. A name to remember to look out for in the future. Paul S Huggins.
