About Bruce Blake

Bruce Blake lives on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. When pressing issues like shovelling snow and building igloos don't take up his spare time, Bruce can be found taking the dog sled to the nearest cafe to work on his short stories and novels.
Actually, Victoria, B.C. is only a couple hours north of Seattle, Wash., where more rain is seen than snow. Bruce is the father of two and trophy husband of burlesque diva Miss Rosie Bitts. He spends too much time work a traditional job and not enough time writing but hopes to change all that soon.

Bruce.. Excellent story. I was taken with your characters as they all had a very different impact on the story, each with their unique talents. Your hero is excellent. I liked his attitude; earthy, realistic and he carries his failures well, and he's certainly not a quitter. I always thought great stories could only be written by big name writers. Your story kept my interest all the way to the exciting end. Great job Bruce

Just finished this book today, quite an excellent read, I had trouble putting it down. I had previous read some of Bruce Blake's short stories and they left me wanting more, Well 'On Unfaithful Wings' was no different, the story moved at a great pace and left me waiting impatiently for the next book. I look forward to getting back into the world of Icarus Fell and seeing where he goes from here. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoyed 'The Dresden Files' series as I felt it fit in with the same style. If you like urban fantasy, definitely buy this book and read it.
