Handicapped without teeth, he's an outcast-but lovable with a heart warming smile, and eats sea weed. Tragedy, loss of love and home, abuse, lonely and afraid until a little striped tough sounding fish called "Sarg" becomes Gums life long friend, and helps Gums to find courage, which leads to freedom and happiness for many sea creatures. About Ski Zawaski

Born in 1950(not my fault) in Warwick, NY. Only child(not my fault)but I had plenty of time to think. Always loved challenges whether they were good or bad. Lots of time under and above the sea. Short career as an actor/stuntman. Lucky I was multi-talented...learned and accomplished many things. I'm still an only best company is my own. Living in the foothills of the Carolina mountians is my nirvana. Maybe I'll see a deer out there today! Think...think...think...make...make...make...need to keep my mind and hands busy. I've wanted to publish my story "Gum's the Toothless Shark" since I originally wrote it in the late 70s. A huge thankyou to Smashwords for letting this happen. I'm very happy.
If you own any dogs or cats, they are not just "animals"...they are your "pets", so treat them like pets and bring them in from the cold in the winter time. And remember..."eat your vegetables!"

Review by: D. M. Piasecki on May 22, 2013 :
"Gums the Toothless Shark" draws one in by its metaphorical depiction of the sea and its creatures. You will find yourself or someone you know portrayed in this delightful saga. The author passes on his experiences with humanity and his worldly travels for the reader's entertainment. He integrates our personalities, the good and the bad, within his cast of characters. He makes us look inward with a smile and sometimes a tear. Dive into the author's fanta-sea and your heart will thank you.
