Along with the other reviewers, I too loved the ending and can see the resemblence with Edgar Allan Poe, one of my favourite authors of this genre. Great dialogue also. Well done.

An entertaining read, would love a full length novel version as the characters the author has created have intrigued and engrossed in 4 simple pages. I definitely would read more of the author's work. Hand this man a keyboard!

This short story "The Devil Inside Me" by Greg Burdon is absolutely brilliant. Let me firstly state that I am not usually a fan of horror/thriller stories but I could not stop reading this particular story. The writing is akin to what Edgar Allan Poe would write, such as The Raven or the Tell Tale Heart but with a slightly modern writing style. I urge everyone to read this story, you will be pleasantly surprised.
