Fun retro-period genre piece well-written for young adults with a good ending. As the other reviewer noted, some typos in the e-text that really ought to be fixed.

A fair introduction to science fiction for a pre-teen, although there were many typos and what appeared to be words missing from sentences. A careful proof-reading would solve this. The young female lead character is quite well depicted as a somewhat unwilling super-hero, and there is a decent moral to the story - to be yourself.
