Barney Schwartz is retired and currently lives between Geneva, Switzerland and Dekalb,IL USA. He is a member of the B.E.N. Publishing team along with Illustrator, Nena Sladoljev.

He has an extensive background in computing, writing, and electronics support.He owned one of the first Amiga computers. He wrote a desktop publishing column for Amazing Computing Magazine centered on use of emerging DTP programs on the Amiga. He was a technical writer for Northrop/Grumman Corporation.
