I was raised an Army brat and lived many places, settling in south Alabama thirty years ago. I taught middle school science for nineteen years, and I'm now retired at the age of 58.
Retirement has enabled me to pursue my dream of becoming a writer.
My husband is a poultry farmer. We have two grown sons, a wonderful daughter-in-law, and a blessing of grandkids.
I like to think of myself as eclectic. But, then again, I'm probably just ADD with a little OCD thrown in for good measure!

Eternal Springs is a very good devotional for those who like a quick read. Each day is reflections of Sheila Hollingshead's life and writing, with God as the focal point. It's March 12, 2012 today, and I'm sure that by the end of the year I will know about her personality and much of what she has gone through, if not the details then the emotions and faith which carries her through the good and bad times.
It's obvious she not only knows the precepts and concepts of a life centered on God, but also makes it her goal to live by them. She gives you food for thought in her successes and failures. This isn't deep Bible study but a journey into the Eternal Springs of a life in Christ.
