About Grinelda Markowitz

Grinelda Markowitz writes erotic fiction across multiple genres. She resides in a galaxy far, far away with a trusty pen, a never-ending supply of paper and a fertile imagination. The Moon-Kissed Chi, her first e-published book in the genre of erotic fiction, is available on Amazon and Smashwords.

For a bit of recreation I enjoy clay work and attending symphony. I meet up with friends when we are able to sync our schedules and I maintain a fairly active virtual life. Eating out is a passion for me. I’m always glad to find a new restaurant which warrants a return visit.

I used to work at a book store part time. How cliché, huh? And, I also maintain a full-time bread-and-butter job as well. I find that embarking on a serious approach to writing rather than the hit-and-miss efforts of previous years has provided a welcome focal point in my daily existence.

Since I read so much in the genre of fantasy / scifi, despite a slight bumpy beginning, where I struggled a bit to get my bearings, I soon slipped easily into this world. Though I felt a tad lost at first, I soon found myself eagerly following the characters and their escapades. They developed well, and soon, I pictured them and their world in my mind, and the tale pulled me along. The fantasy elements, combined with the ancient culture touched with the futuristic, intrigued me and helped me over the small hump of confusion at the start. The erotic elements wove well through the tale, as an integral part of the culture. I do feel that more setting and cultural detail shown in the beginning may have alleviated my first impression of confusion. However, that said, what matters is how I felt at the end. . .HUNGRY for more!

I have to reiterate what the reviewer said before me, it was both imaginative and realistic in the story. I enjoyed it very much. The sensual scenes were hot and lusty and this book is well worth reading again and again, and I will. Great job by this author. I look forward to reading more stories from this author.

Review by: Anthony Beal on March 18, 2012 :
The author has created a very expressive and erotic society driven by elemental sexual energies. The relationships between characters are believable (often even enviable) and touched by humor and romantic affection as well as more primal sexual lust. Something I liked about this story is that for all its attention to detail, the author was skillful about leaving some things to the imagination. Kudos to Grinelda Markowitz for creating a realistic realm that succeeds in simultaneously feeling futuristic and ancient, as well as characters in whose happiness and well-being I found myself quickly invested. I think lovers of erotica and fantasy fiction will enjoy exploring the world created in this book.
