Hilda - Dragon Master

Rated 5.00/5 based on 5 reviews
In book 8 of the series around Hilda the Wicked Witch, Hilda and William are called in to help solve a theft. This, of course, takes our magical couple into quite an adventure again.

About Paul Kater

Paul Kater was born in the Netherlands in 1960. He quickly developed a feel for languages but did not pursue a career in those as his native language, Dutch, did not offer many options in that time.

Since 2003 he's been writing seriously, first posting his scribblings to an amateur writers mailinglist, and then publishing shorter and longer stories on the internet. Paul currently lives in Cuijk (the Netherlands), with his two cats, his books and the many characters he's developed in the past years, who claim he is a figment of their imagination.

Paul mainly writes Fantasy and Science Fiction/Steampunk but also tries his luck in other genres.

This book is fantastic. You find out more about Hilda and William's backgrounds, their families. Who hasn't been wondering about Hilda since she first appeared. Can't wait for the next one now.

I have read all of the books in the Hilda series. This is a series I have thoroughly enjoyed. The stories are light, easy to read, move quickly and even have a bit of romance. I have found "nods" to certain big name authors, such as Douglas Adams. It is written much in the same light-hearted way. Even if the price of Hilda - Dragon Master was much higher it would be well worth the price. A great addition to your library.

I love all the Hilda series books Paul Kater has written. They are so adventurous and entertaining and the best part is most of them are free. This one (at a low cost) was another new adventure with some old and new characters, difficult situations, and a Dragon. It is at the same standard as the earlier books and recommended if you like Witches, Magic, Adventure, Fantasy.
