Stephen Morley lives and works in the South of England. He has published three novels in recent years, but has been writing and composing for over forty years.
Stephen says: “Music and the British countryside have always been strong influences in my life and I brought them together in my novel Moses Trod. I know all the areas described in my books and much of my work is inspired by the places I see in long walks across the British countryside. Particularly, I love the many paths that traverse the wild hills and valleys of north eastern England, the location for my latest novel, Cliffington.”
Stephen is also an enthusiastic musician and songwriter, with a love of folk instruments, especially guitars. He comments: “I believe that music crosses boundaries and joins people wherever they live and whatever their beliefs.”
