About Al W Moe

Al W. Moe was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and introduced to the casinos of Nevada at the age of eleven. At the time he had never seen such an amazing array of sights, sounds, and exciting games. Little has change since that first introduction.

Moe is the father of four wonderful girls and the lucky husband of an amazing woman. He is also the author of several books, including the #1 Selling "Vegas and the Mob."

Review by: Bob Nelson on Oct. 11, 2012 :
This is a terrific book. The author tells so many stories about casinos in Las Vegas - about the Mob, Bugsy Siegel, Meyer Lansky, and a lot more. Moe tells about the building of the Flamingo, Sahara, El Cortez, Dunes, Hacienda, Stardust, Harrah's, Harold's Club, Cal Neva and plenty of others.

The writing is good, steady, and enjoyable. Nonfiction without feeling like you're reading a text book!
