This caught me off guard. Well written short stories usually do. Emily and Wiley have a beautiful and pure friendship. This was an endearing story.

I really enjoyed this short story by Nely Cab. It was beautifully written and you felt very connected to the characters. I didn't "figure out" the twist until right before the reveal so I always view this as a very good thing in a book. Definitely worth reading.

I really enjoyed this short story that the author has weaved. Without saying too much and giving it away, all I can say is that homeless Wiley forms a irreplaceable friendship with Emily, who, in the end, helps him in a way that most "real" friends could not. I recommend this short story to anyone who likes a inspirational read with a twist :)
