A well-written piece of fiction dealing with strong emotions. The narrative conveys the feelings of the characters well without going overboard or labouring a point, or straining credibility, all easy traps to fall into with this sort of subject matter. It also isn't too downbeat, with an ending that at least offers some hope.

A women's fiction short story piece which is moving and beautifully-written, treating its subject matter with grace and maturity.

A beautiful, touching read. It balances the act of suicide in a very realistic and approachable manner. I love the depth in Elle's mother's suicide letter -I thought it was a wonderful touch, a beautiful and wonderful touch.
The pain of her mother was easily observed. I definitely love the thoughts Elle has towards her mother now.
Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
