Doctors Don't Always Bury Their Mistakes

"Doctors Don't Always Bury Their Mistakes"
documents my epic quest for healing. I followed
the advice of conventional physicians, podiatrists, orthopedists, neurologists, anesthesiologist/pain specialists, chiropractors and even an acupuncturist to no avail. What started out as a silly, klutzy accident—a bottle of salad dressing dropped on my foot, and was then compounded by stubbing a toe and breaking the same foot—became a decade of medical malpractice, financial tribulation, and a feeling of complete helplessness and hopelessness. What took seconds to do, literally took years to get past. More

This book is well written and captivating - one that is hard to stop reading until the end once you start. The way CJ was treated by so many doctors is unthinkable and horrible. Unfortunately, it is too easy for someone to be treated the way she was because we have all been brought up to believe the doctor knows or will be willing to find the proper way to treat us or admit there is nothing he can do to help and doesn't know anyone who can. All of CJ's horrible experiences remind us thhat no one knows our bodies like we do, and if you have any doubt about what the doctor is recommending, DON'T DO IT!
In the end, you know that the only reason CJ survived was through the grace of God and that God was not finished with her.

Doctor's don't always bury their mistakes is an outstanding book and makes the reader very conscious about who they will entrust when medical care is needed/required. It is my understanding that C J Rocks book is based upon a series of real life events. The medical malpractice and painstaking account of the poor medical care given was just chilling. I recommend others read this book and apply what C J Rock learned in the end. You must trust your self and not always the advice given from so called medical specialists.

The lesson from this book is; do not treat your Dr.'s like they have the "know all" answers to your medical issues. Tread carefully; do your research on Dr's before seeing them and get numerous opinions before you choose a course of medical treatment. Do not let the Dr. convince you to participate in any procedure which causes concern for you.
