About Yari Garcia

Hello! I'm Yari Garcia.

I live in Colorado and I write YA & New Adult stories of romance, for those who are fierce at heart.

I have a BA in English & Creative Writing with a focus on Fiction. I have reached the list of top free authors on iBooks with my romantic short stories, such as The Girl in the Converse Shoes, which currently has over 48,000 reviews on iTunes.

My current work-in-progress takes you into the heart of the south, to the small town of Ponybridge, Louisiana, where Bonnie Hart is trying desperately to get her life back on track after a failed romance. A series of arsons pops up all over town unexpectedly, and threatens to smoke out all the small town's secrets, including Bonnie's. When fire investigator Brandon Wells is called to the scene, it is love at first sight-- but it only complicates Bonnie's life, as the fires get closer and closer and more dangerous by the hour.

"A Firefighter Hero for Her" is coming soon!

Many hugs,
Yari

This was a nice distraction! Very cute and light. I loved the fact that it was written like a conversation. I completely relate to Neon - being an "odd ball"/geek that has now become a hipster/cool thing to be. I would definitely recommend this book!

A good short story with a nice philosophy - that love is not always what you think it is, and what appears perfect always isn't so.

Fun little read. Just as awesome as the other short stories by Yaritza that I've read. This one had the little twist ending that I have come to love as well.
