A talented writer who uses words well. He creates the time and space many of us remember and leaves us to fill in the blanks. His subtlety of language is well defined and clever. His detail of the offences are expansive but the detail of the retribution minimal. Hence for those looking for such detail, considering the title, they will be disappointed as this is not what this is about. It is more about a time and place that once existed for us baby-boomers that exists no more. In these words most of us like minded generation will recognise many of our own thoughts and hopefully realise our children will write of their time, as Rod has his, with the same passion and endearment as he has.
