Review by: Brandon on Feb. 23, 2012 :
I'm biased here because the author happens to be a great pal of mine, and because I helped workshop a great deal of this novel one riveting chapter at a time in a writing group in which we both had the honor of participating. Nonetheless, I can tell you without qualification how brilliant this book is: the intoxicating story feels ripped from the headlines, yet pulses along with a splendidly timeless feel; the characters are eminently relatable (and, in some cases, even quite *dreamy*); and the plot moves along at an entertaining clip that is quickly-paced yet never leaves the reader feeling disillusioned and/or confused. Ms. Sanchez is one hell of a fun writer, and she has written a whale of a thriller that leaves you guessing --- and dying from hysterical suspense --- until practically the very last sentence.

Review by: Alison Barker on Feb. 9, 2012 :
Sanchez has her finger on the pulse of today's financial anxieties and cultural tensions, which she uses to weave a delicious psychological thriller of escape, romance, and identity. Set aside some "me-time" to plunge into _Hedged_-you'll need it, because she won't let you go until the very end!!
