Nancy lives in a small country town and has struggled to raise her two children as a single parent. Her life changes for the better when she meets Gary, a local GP. As the relationship blossoms Nancy begins to re-evaluate her priorities and this effects her adult children. Just as things are going well tragedy strikes threatening to tear the family apart.

I stayed up until 2AM to finish it as I couldn't put it down! I shared feelings with many of the characters and become part of the story. I would have happily strangled, or better yet, shot Adrian and then have given comfort to a number of the others.

A very enjoyable story of two families interaction, their problems, relationships and life events.

The book keeps the reader gripped as the story gradually unfolds to a surprising twist.

Very readble with believable characters. A gentle tale with some surprising episodes. real life situations and problems but with unforeseen outcomes.
