About A.M. Gray

I started writing fanfiction a couple of years ago as mrstrentreznor. I thought it was a wonderful concept to take existing characters and flesh them out a little more. Or to write the scenes that didn’t get filmed or written in the original work. I have given away more than a million words on fanfic; but I discovered that I had a million more in my head. And they were my words, my characters and my stories.
I am an overeducated Australian single mother. I feel I should be witty and informative about how many children and household pets I have, but really the chickens lay eggs and I am yet to see what use the teenagers are.
I also read a lot and play my music loud... really loud.

"Do you remember that day?" Heartbreaking, but she needs to move on. Find someone who sees "only her."

He sounds like a scumbag who will cheat on his wife, if not with her then someone else. She needs to grow a backbone.

Found I don't sound like a stalker at

What a heart breaking story. For them both I wonder if he was really happy with his bride or just didn't want to marry his cousin :(

While Americans have an entirely different view on cousin relationships, one can't overlook just how messed up the interactions are between these two characters. He's obviously the instigator, and has been since they were young. One could suggest a Stockholm-like relationship.

But either way, she went home with the right man, the one who obviously cares enough to stay, even when she tells him all her dirty secrets!

I actually like this story assuming they are not first cousins and all... At the end of the story, I was curious if that cousin (the guy) might come crawling back and declare that she is the love of his life....

I loved this! It's full of both humorous and poignant moments, in addition to some hot sexual tension which undoubtably would result from the draw of such a forbidden, unattainable relationship. A.M. Gray's writing is excellent as always.
I found it rather hilarious in reading other reviews that a few were taken aback by the fact that, as the title suggests, this story is actually about kissing cousins. Sure, it's a concept which is not so acceptable nowadays--as the story clearly depicts in its expression of the ongoing anguish the heroine has endured due to her feelings for her cousin-- but let not the Puritans forget we're all descended from kissing cousins! Due to the limited communities in which people lived in early times, marriages were commonly formed among neighboring friends or close relatives, and yes, quite often...cousins!

This is not a romance.

The name is literal. So if you have a problem with cousins hot for each other...definitely not your cup of tea.

My rating - 0 out of 5 stars

Another outstanding short story by A.M.Gray!! It is exactly what the title states. The groom is one cousin and a bridesmaid the other. I love the "achilles thong" reference!!

5 Stars
