Review by: Christopher Blankley on Jan. 27, 2013 :
Poor Luke. Trapped in the town of LeVir Lake, a walled, suburban commune, that can be found on no map. No friends, no phone, no Internet...but things begin to look up when the two hottest girls in town start to show an interest in him. Too bad, one is a vampire hunter and the other, the human progeny of the town's bloodsucking masters. Poor Luke. What's a boy to do but fall in love with them both?

These Flowers... is a well-written, teen page-turner, that enjoys its delicate, romantic dance, right before it plunges you (literally) into the depths of LeVir Lake's ancient secrets.
