She could see people's emotions. Not only in their features or gestures, but in a sheer cloud of color that clung to every person. She knew when they were happy or sad, proud or embarrassed. That wasn't all though. She could see what they were. The problem was that she didn't know what she was. More

I've always thought that the highest compliment I could pay an author is a very simple sentence: "I believed your story." So much is tied up in that sentence: plot, storyline, characters, dialog, setting--in short, everything that goes into a good story, and lifts it above a run-of-the-mill book.

And that's exactly what M.E. Timmons has dobe with Eternity: crafted a tale I could--and did--believe. For me, even though a book is fantasy, it has to have its own internal consistency. In other words, it must be true to the logic and rules of its own world. Eternity is such a book. There was not a single moment in which I thought to myself, "Well, that's just too far-fetched."

My only complaint is that it left me hungry for more. I hope the Ms. Timmons makes a series out of this story.

Very unique idea, and a refreshing departure from the standard vampire/werewolf novel. I like how many of the ongoing story lines were wrapped up cleanly, with hints at a greater story line at the end, keeping the reader engaged and interested.

This is truly amazing with unexpected plot twists and really well thought out characters. Also, the word choice and writing style in this is truly astounding and the story overall keeps your attention.

Wonderful job with your book! I totally hated to leave off long enough to sleep. To me, that defines a great read. Thankyou for sharing it with all of us and yes, I will definitely be watching hopefully for a "next in the series" to come along. Good solid plot, character development, some interesting side stories and good use of descriptive phrases that lure the reader more deeply into the story.
