Hi! I’m CJ =), a work-from-home mom and wife of a P90xer. When my husband decided to give P90x a go, we made a deal: he’d commit to doing the exercises without fail, and I’d manage the food. He promised to eat anything that I put in front of him! So, I memorized the nutrition guide from cover to cover, researched supplements, protein powders, bars, the works.

As I managed my hubby's portion approach, I developed a p90x nutrition journal document to keep track of his meals. I thought it might be useful to other P90xers out there, so I started a blog to share it, and was born! I also began coming up with P90x recipes that fit into the portion approach, so I started posting them there as well.

Well here we are, almost two years and 80+ recipes later. Not only was my hubby successful at P90x, my P90x nutrition and recipes blog is a hit! Kind of ironic, since I've always hated cooking! LOL. But turns out that this is something that P90xers and I have in common - I don't cook for pleasure, and neither do P90xers who are exercising for an hour or more each day.

My newest endeavor is a line of P90x meal plan and shopping list ebooks to support P90xers in the nutrition side of P90x. I'm starting with Level 2, Phase 1, and if there continues to be interest, I'll expand these to the other two levels and the remaining phases.

I am not a doctor or nutritionist. I don’t have any training in this – I’ve just done a lot of research over the last couple of years as I planned my husband’s portion approach and answered questions from my blog readers. So here is the inevitable C.M.A. statement - while I share my opinions about P90x nutrition, my advice should not replace that of your doctor, nutritionist, priest, rabbi, etc.!

I should also mention that I’m not employed by or affiliated with Beachbody or P90x in any way. I am not a Beachbody coach, and I’m not trying to sell anyone on P90x. My goal is to share the results of my research into P90x nutrition and the new recipes I’ve come up with, in the hopes that it will make starting out easier for other people than it was for us!

Good idea, good recipes, nice to have a shopping list, but poor layout of recipes. The recipes should be included in the book!! I spent 4 hours today clicking links, saving screen shots to PDF because Mac's don't print selection, saving all these screen shots to a folder, printing those screen shots. It was almost more trouble than it was worth. I probably could have done my own meal plan in the time it took me to organize all of the recipes. What's worse is that the recipes are already in the blog. I could have just gone to the blog and done it myself.

This was an outstanding guide to teach good habits. I am creating a month 2 and 3 and now have all the tools (including your blog full of recipes) to do this. I have been having outstanding results as I enter my 4th week.

Already looking at p90x2 and can't say thank you enough for teaching me the good habits I needed to do this on my own. The guides simply were not enough. Again thank you for your help and support throughout this ongoing journey!

Love this, I have been on for five days and stuck to it religiously and as a result have lost 7lbs. I am never hungry and the meals are easy to prepare, tasty and inexpensive. I like how the shopping list is put together and everything is portion out well in advance with notation of days foods uncooked and leftovers will be used for easy storing. I am beginning the P90X workout program on Monday, which will kick this all into high gear and I am excited. Thank you for putting this together, you obviously are a wonderful loving and attentive wife and now friend of mine :) Please I hope you are working on Phase 2... are you? Thank you again for doing the work and writing this great e-book companion to P90X.

Well thought out and very helpful...especially to an initially overwhelmed newcomer to the P90X nutrition scene. The workouts are doable...what a gift to have someone handling the food side of the equation. Phase II and Phase III would be more than welcomed!!! Thanks for your insight and putting pen to paper.

If you are looking at this and all the other reviews and haven't bought this book yet...what are you doing with your life?!?! there are 0 4 star reviews, you need to get this book, the recipes are amazing and its easy to plan ahead. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE WRITE A PHASE TWO WITHIN THE NEXT MONTH :)
