About Jabe Fincher, Jr

I have been a minister in the United Methodist Church since 1994. I served on the Choctaw Co. Local Emergency Planning Committe and on the Pennington VFD for 8 plus years and the Choctaw Co. Hazardous Response Team for 3 years. In college (University of West Alabama) I majored in history and sociology.I have developed and implemented disaster response plans for hurricanes, oil spills, etc. I have served twenty-two different United Methodist churches thus far, which has enabled me to obtain a well-rounded knowledge of church administration, organization and other social skills experience. In 2014 I graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary with an M.Div. Currently, I earned a Ph.D in Christian Counseling from Newburgh Theological Seminary in 2015. I am an avid fisherman and have been for over fifty years.
