About Patricia Iles

I've been in love with words for as long as I can remember. I love how they can paint a picture in your mind, or make you hear the sound they portray (sniff, meow, whisper). I love the layers of nuance and emotion that can be captured by words. I love them all.

I live, work and write in Trout Creek, Montana.

This book was very enjoyable. Anyone who likes to delve into historical fiction will be captured by the characters and family portrayed in this story. The large family shows how love, determination, and faith helped our early settlers to be successful.

I really enjoyed this book. It had everything - family bonds, childhood dreams, adult adventures, multi-generational challenges, cultural differences, and how important love is. This book is one you could read over and over. Nicely Done, Patricia.
