About Richard Freeland

I write horror and thriller fiction as well as non-fiction about gardens and landscapes. I'm a fair singer/songwriter, and a family man. I love to travel and hike with my wife Martha, play a little tennis when my bum knees let me, make and sip a great margarita, play on the water with boats, and go on adventures with my two boys.

I also love Jekyll Island, Georgia, our home-away-from-home, and have another website devoted just to our adventures on this wonderful island (www.jekyll-island-family-adventures.com).

Hope you enjoy my writing, and keep a weather eye out for "Seed", my upcoming novel.

Review by: Marcia Carrington on Feb. 24, 2018 :
This is a fast-paced comedy-romance short story with likable characters. I found the depiction of the characters' milieu subtle without being overly descriptive in nature, and the comic, breezy atmosphere worked well, infusing the story with an easy-going charm. It leaves events on a nice note, and wanting to see more from the characters in a further instalment.

A delightfully fun story to read. As a cat lover and writer, I could absolutely identify with Jeanne and her cat's antics. Very well done.
