About Jane Foster

I live with my partner in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside in an ancient, crumbling chalkstone house. I work for my best friend in London and stay there during the week. I enjoy the best of both worlds! I have been writing poetry since I was 14 and enjoy reading it very much too.

I've always wanted to see my work in print but traditional publishing has always been so difficult to break into especially for poets. The internet has made it so much more accessible for all good writers to be read at last!

I hope you enjoy my stuff!

Light verse? Sometimes. Touching? Yes. The poems in this collection cannot leave you indifferent. Sometimes you have to smile while others leave you a little sorrowful. I think there are verses here for everyone and I can recommend.

This is some of the best poetry I have ever read. Whether it is through skillfully woven metaphor or the path of an arrow reaching its' mark, these works lead to the core of a genuine individual who has intelligently and thoughtfully examined what it is to be an honest human. Done with lilt and laughter, tears and troubles, this is a book worth reading.

This book should be accompanied by a warning: MAY RATTLE YOUR CAGE AND MAKE YOU QUESTION YOUR ASSUMPTIONS! It's quirky in places, full of double entendres, and quite provocative and thoughtful. Read this if you fancy a wee journey into the oft-twisted mind of a very talented poet.
