My 1st Junior ROTC Essay

Every year in Army JROTC, all Cadets are required to write an essay about the program. When I was a first year Cadet (LET 1), I wrote this essay. My essay did not receive any awards but I feel publishing it will help the public better understand the program and what we are about.

About Troy Walker

My name is Troy Walker. I was born raised the rural small towns of central Indiana, where I enjoyed the hospitality and welcome feeling of a small country town.

While in high school, I was a Cadet in the Army Junior ROTC lrogram, achieving the rank of Cadet Captain as my battalion's S-2 officer. While a Cadet, I was also a member of the exhibition drill team and the battalion color guard.

Currently, I'm serving in the United States Army as an Information Technology Specialist, and writing in my spare time. Always I'm trying to continue my trend that I had begun in 2011, writing consecutively better novels.
