About JD Nixon

I live in beautiful Queensland in Australia. I started writing in 2009 because I wanted to do something creative and haven't stopped since! I have two series of books:

The Heller series (first book Heller - free!) features the frequently outlandish adventures of security officer, Tilly Chalmers, and her complicated relationship with her beautiful, mysterious and intense boss, Heller. There will be seven books in total in this series.

The Little Town series (first book Blood Ties - free!) features police officer, Tess Fuller, and her struggle to survive a long-standing vendetta with the feral Bycraft family and at the same time manage the tense relationship between her new partner, Finn Maguire, and her boyfriend, Jake Bycraft. There will be five books in total in this series.

My author dream is to one day write a short story (which for me will probably be about 50,000 words!) where Tilly & Heller meet Tess & Finn. What a story that would be! Maybe over the end-of-year break???

I hope you enjoy reading my books as much as I enjoyed writing them! I'd love to hear your feedback, so why not email me at: jdn.author@gmail.com

The stories of Tilly and her assignments are always so entertaining. The characters have a lot of personality to them. After reading the first free book in the series I had to get them all and am anxiously awaiting the next book. A fantastic read that's hard to put down once you start!

A really fine read. As in all of the previous Heller books, you relate to the main characters. Heller is totally fixated on Tilly but try and figure out if he is a good guy or a bad guy or both at the same time. It's a challenge. Then there is Tilly. Her relationship with Daniel and Niq reminds me a lot of “Wendy and the Lost Boys” They are not her children but the might as well be. This book has funny spots, dark spots, lots of action and is a true credit to this up-and-coming author. Enjoy!

Nixon does it again! Wonderfully fresh and each situation a little different from the previous. I wasn't too keen on the way Tilly's relationship with her bf-ex-bf panned out. Especially her sex-capades, knowing he was with someone else. But that is personal preference. BTW, when will the next one be out?
