This has series written all over it. Tom, I hope you have a bigger story arc in mind for these characters, and I'm guessing you do. All I can really say is I can't wait to read it.

Tom I really liked this story. Like another review, I too would like to see longer versions. While really good, there is just enough to get interested in, then it ends. Your book "Encounter" was wonderful. You have got to either make that into a novel, or longer versions of a continuing story. Would much rather see a novel, or even a novel series of that one.

I'm getting to like this author more every time I read something. I'm also getting to like Chuck. The only thing I'd like to see more, are longer versions. Just as I'm really getting into it, it ends, but I still very much enjoyed it.

Absolutely one of the most interesting characters I've read in a long time.
Thanks so much for bringing Chuck back - but I want more!!!
Nice writing and great pacing. And the continuous tension while having a heart-to-heart discussion is superb.
Just beautifully done.
A great story teller.

Tom, Glenn here. Your work is remarkable! I love how you reintroduce Chuck, the vampire in this story. The discussion over morals, between a vampire that may kill you to drink your blood, thereby turning you into a vampire also... Wow! I could feel the tension between Rodger and the vampire, not knowing when or if the vampire would strike, not knowing whether to run for your life or what! And then…
