A thoroughly enjoyable and well written book, suitable for children of all ages. If you've read and liked the Harry Potter series or the Famous Five books then The Park should be on your to read list. The characters are believable and the darker scenes in the book that should be gripping and tense are exactly that. Easy to pick up but hard to put down; I wholeheartedly recommend it.

This is a good quality children's adventure with believable, likeable characters that go looking for some adventure end up pitted against the forces of darkness.
My nine-year old daughter and I ended up reading this together and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Very readable and fun for all ages of children (and their parents!) Highly recommended.
