A Bigger World Yet: Faith, Brotherhood, & Same-Sex Needs

Rated 5.00/5 based on 3 reviews
A Bigger World Yet is about an ache and a longing in our culture for friendship and brotherhood. It is a book about emotional orphans with wounds and hungers of the heart. This book is about boys who needed connections to loving men and friends growing up, but instead received abuse and absence. This book is one Christian man's spiritual odyssey. A Bigger World Yet is a song of hope. More

Reviews of A Bigger World Yet: Faith, Brotherhood, & Same-Sex Needs by Tim Timmerman

This was a good format to use because Amazon only had it in paperback format, but since I am overseas, there was not enough time for me to get that book format before my online book study. It is a very good book. I started weeping at a story in the very first chapter. It gives a lot of examples and has been there with ssa.

This is one of the best books, if not THE best book I have read on the issue of same-sex attractions. The author brought up new things I had never considered but made a lot of sense. His openness in discussing his own struggles and journey was very encouraging. The book is an interesting read, but it is also a helpful and encouraging book that has helped me a lot on my own journey.

I found this book to be quite compelling. Mr. Timmerman does an amazing job of relating the emotional issues of same sex attracted men. By telling his own story in his own words he offers hope to others that perhaps they too might find a circle of supporting friends to help them satisfy their same sex needs in a non sexual way. And is so doing will be enabled to live in integrity and authenticity that the gay lifestyle can never provide. I would highly recomned this book for anyone who struggles with a gender identity problem, or anyone that has a loved one or friend that struggles.
