It begins with a half-glimpsed vision flickering behind a stand of trees as Sam Bartlett, thirteen years old, finally spies the Grey Lady, the ghostly figure said to haunt the environs of St. Andrew’s church. He and his best friend, Max, were once both choristers at the ancient building. But now Max is gone and Sam must transcend time and space to track down the boy before he is lost forever.

I liked this story,particularly because of its setting.It evoked something....Barry J House has rekindled my love of reading this genre.Recommended.
