About M.S. Fowle

M.S. Fowle was born and raised in Maine and continues to live there with her family. On the surface, she's an average American wife and mother, balancing life and work in blue jeans and sneakers. But she actually tends to favor the strange and unusual, mostly by way of fantasy and science fiction books and films. She also prefers dogs over cats and has an uncharacteristic animosity towards clowns.

"Nora's Sun" reveals M.S. Fowle's understanding that science fiction is not merely a tool for escaping the world, but also a lens through which to see it. The piece presents a dilemma familiar to almost any twenty-first century reader - the conundrum of mixing the alien with the familiar. Engaging characters and an intriguing world fill out Fowle's vision of the known-but-unknown in a way that makes for a truly compelling read.

This is a fantastic science fiction story about Nora, a no-nonsense woman on a mission to find her son. She is lucky to have the companionship of Jules and Gordon, a husband and wife team, to accompany her on this adventure.

Action-packed and suspenseful, this story exceeded my expectations. The storyline was clever, and I love the world that M.S. Fowle created. I highly recommend this to any scifi or short story fans.

I was pleasantly surprised by this short story. It is an exciting sci-fi adventure that keeps you on the edge throughout. Very finely written, it sure is a fantastic effort by the author.

The story is about a mother's search for her son, who is taken away from her. With the help of friends she embarks on a thrilling search behind enemy lines to find him. She in fact finds more than she had thought she ever would.

Thoroughly enjoyable. Very interesting story. Would recommend it to others too.
