Hailey in the Heather - Part One

Adult Erotica
Rated 4.80/5 based on 5 reviews
This is a true account of my recent adventures on a Scottish island. The friendly people (and animals) I've met, the romance, erotica, humor and self-discovery (no wonder I'm tired!) Be warned, this is not a pornographic book but I didn't leave out the rude bits either. So, PLEASE don't read this if you're put off by friendly consensual adult situations, including those with animals. More

I read a lot of erotic books. Most of them are non stop "slap and tickle". This one is refreshingly different. The characters are well drawn, they have a life outside sexual encounters and yet the sexual encounters are quite naughty. But what is even more unique is that it's done with such innocence and humor. Beautiful job.

Hailey has written what would be a fine and humorous piece even if there were hardly any "friendly consensual adult situations" in the mix. There is even a very "lovable" pooch. Spot on, as the Brits might say. 5-stars.
I like dirty, smutty stories too, but this ain't one. It's refreshing.

Not to put too fine a point on it but this is one of the better written stories I've seen on Smashwords. The author while holding nothing back takes the reader on her journey of self discovery. The erotic encounters are well written while not being gratuitous and are more exclamation points along the way.

I'm very much looking for a next installment.

I sort of read this by mistake, not realising that a dog is involved. It's not my usual thing at all but, honestly, it's pretty good. I might have to review my tastes! It's a good long read and be warned, it's not the usual kinda porno stuff at all - there's a proper story here. A novel or a travel-book - but with lots of spice. It was a bit slow to get into (or maybe I was expecting something else) - hence only 4 stars, but it's about 900 times better written than most of the ebooks that are out there. Definitely worth reading if you're looking for something intelligent yet sexy. Like a full meal, not just the dessert. Ok, hope that helps.

I've never written a review before but I really did enjoy this book, so here goes…

The author seems like a really lovely and brave woman. She's moved to Scotland and it's a hell of a ride because she meets randy neighbors straightaway and their equally randy dog. The thing about it is that it's not just a series of sex stories - it's a real diary of the other stuff she does too. I don't know what you like but I think it's very well written, with interesting and funny bits and sad bits. Basically I loved this author and I want to hear what happens next, so if you do read it then write something here too.
