She is the author of the book "A Call to the Village: Retooling Public Schools" and the eBook "People, Politics, and Profits: The Ties that Bind Main Street, the Beltway, and Wall Street."
Her professional career has consisted of more than three decades of work across sectors, serving as a CPA, consultant, business manager, chief financial officer, and accounting manager.
She has worked for a charter school management company, independent K12 schools, a multinational financial institution, a Big 4 public accounting firm, private corporations, and a public university.
She holds a BBA in Accounting with Honors from Southern Methodist University, MBA in Strategic Planning and Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Divinity from The Divinity School at Harvard University.
