About Philip Wooldridge

My life's been an interesting journey, to say the least. I was raised in the central Texas area, and upon completing high school, served in the military for over five years. After that, I attended Panola College and the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, graduating with a degree in Social Work in 1997. Since then, I've worked various jobs in the field, and have recently settled with my wife in Northeast Michigan. Sometimes a complete change is just what the doctor ordered.

Recently, I've done away with my pen name of Wilson Kasa and have decided to re-publish my short stories under my real name. My stories come from a mix of what is probably an overactive imagination and real life experiences. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I did writing them.

All the best,

Philip

The "Milk Guzzlers Club" story is the funniest thing I've read in ages. Wilson Kasa is right up there with Jean Shepard (of "A Christmas Story" fame). Good stuff.

Kasa's autobiography provides a great glimpse into the skewed mentality of boyhood. The anecdotes are humorous and insightful. A great read!
