About Lori Meyer

My name is Lori Meyer. I am a mother of two and an elementary teacher. During the 2008 – 2009 school year, through the enthusiastic encouragement of my classroom full of fourth graders and my own two daughters, I decided to create a story from a dream I had had one night. And from that dream a series grew and then a spin off.

From the day I started on that journey of creating a story from a dream, I found I couldn’t help but become hooked. They say once you are bitten by the writing bug it becomes a part of you. I found that to be true and have been writing ever since.

I have always been an avid reader, with my favorite stories involving sexy vampires and fierce shape-shifters. But now I find even more enjoyment in creating my own characters and stories.

I currently have three short stories and five novels available as e-books.

The first three novels in the Cedar Series are entitled DISCOVERING CEDAR, BREAKING CEDAR, and BEYOND CEDAR. The first two in my spin off series (Cole's series) are entitled SOUL OF SEVEN and SEVEN DEGREES STRONGER . The final ones in both of my series are currently in the works. SEVEN'S END is due out end of summer 2015 and RESCUING CEDAR will be published end of summer 2016. Once those two series come to a close, I have plans for two stand alone novels following new characters I met a few years ago but have had to place their stories on the back burner while I complete the series I'm currently working on.

Review by: Eve A. James on April 21, 2012 :
Dramatic and very interesting story. I found the author’s unique voice and captivating characters refreshing. The voice of the journal was masterfully entwined with the characters ordeal. I would love to read a sequel.
