I found this book a nice diversion from some challenges going on in my own life at the time I purchased this book.Brought back some old memories as I related to some of John's personal life experiences.Enjoyed the book overall.Famed cartoonist Bill Watterson of 'Calvin and Hobbes' once said,"I try to make everyone's day a little more surreal." Jeff Beck has certainly done this for me with this work,'Spirit of 76'.Look forward to more from this author...

I truly enjoyed this book! It really made me feel what it was like to grow up in the 1970's... captured a feeling, which is hard to do. I thought the plot was very interesting, and I couldn't put it down! Perfect for anyone who enjoys mysteries, thrillers, and supernatural. Good stuff!
