About K.E. Saxon

K.E. Saxon is a third-generation Texan and has been a lover of romance fiction since her first (sneaked) read of her older sister's copy of "The Flame and the Flower" by Kathleen E. Woodiwiss. She is a member of Romance Writers of America and Romance Divas. When she isn't in her writer's cave writing, you can find her puttering in her organic vegetable garden or in her kitchen trying out a new recipe. An animal (and bug) lover since before she could speak, she made pets of all kinds of critters when she was a kid growing up. Her mother even swears that she made a pet of a cockroach one time (but K.E. doesn't believe her). She likes to write funny, sexy romances.

Daniel MacLaurin (13) was going fishing. Beatha (cook) packed him a lunch. While he was fishing memories of the Highlanders devastation were floating in his mind. When he went back home things was just as bad. How would he bury all of his family? Daniel found Angus (godfather) alive.

Awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written medieval fantasy or fairy tale short story (book). It was very easy to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. No grammar errors, repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios & a great set of unique characters. This could make a great fairy tale movie, animated cartoon or mini TV series. To be continued. A very easy rating of 5 stars for this short story (book).

Thank you for the free short story (book)

This was a prequel that told you didn't engage you to want to care about the 13 year old boy except get pissed. Than there is nothing.....I mean it. Bad first step to getting someone to buy the actual first book. Reevaluate!
