The Cuban Christian Writer: Redemption, Encouragement & Restoration Stories

There are very few Christian writers in Cuba and we do not even have a simple and true Christian publishing house. These are some of the reasons for which I would like to express what a humble Christian from Cuba feels, opening my mind and heart.

It is not easy to be a Christian in Cuba, and Roberto Ornan Roche is one of the country’s only Christian writers.
In this book, his second collection of devotional essays, he writes movingly about his struggles as a Christian in Cuba, his faith and his love of God.
He also relates stories about his family and about other Christians in the country.
It is the author’s hope that these essays might help other believers in their walk with the Lord.

About the Author:

Roberto Ornan Roche is a Christian writer from Cuba. In 1995 he won a prize for his text "Sand in my Eyes." Starting from the 2004 his texts have been published in national magazines of different Christian denominations in Cuba, such as the case of the titles "Jesús", "One Vessel Forever", "Sand in my Eyes" and "The Perfect Story". In 2009, the author has the purpose of making his stories
well-known internationally, just like "The Perfect Story", his English version, is being published and printed in U.S. by In Touch Magazine (more than a million copies and translated to several languages), also in Living Stones News and the new publication in Spanish Piedras Vivas

During several years, he was the editor of the bulletin of news and readings, "Getsemaní." and currently many different international publishing agencies have a strong interest in his articles.
