About Paul Sofranko

A former aspiring writer now perspiring to write. Since 2007 I have blogged at Sober Catholic (see blog site in the websites) and now am finally turning my attention to expanding my efforts through the wonderful opportunities that Smashwords offers.

While I focus on writing devotional booklets for Catholics and other Christians who are affected by alcoholism and addictions, I am also planning on novels and shorter works in the speculative fiction genre that include exploring the shadowy boundaries between life, death and what is beyond; and what exactly exists in that stage between awake and asleep? I am convinced that some things do lurk out of the corner of your eye.

If that sounds strange, it is just a development of an interest of mine in dying, death, grief and the afterlife that started in the aftermath of my Mom's passing in 2005.

Reviews of The Recovery Rosary: Reflections for Alcoholics and Addicts by Paul Sofranko

Judith Ferguson reviewed on May 6, 2012

This book is appropriate for everyone, not just those in recovery. The meditations are adaptable to individual situations. They are thought-provoking and bring the rosary to shine light on "real life" challenges. The cover is durable and the quality of the paper is excellent. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to go beyond merely repeating the rosary prayers.
