About Nelson

Nelson is a poet and traveler, known for howling at the moon. A former street dog, he now lives with his mommy in the San Francisco Bay Area. His favorite bridge is the Golden Gate. His favorite airplane is a Boeing 747-400.

The Haiku form is just perfect for Nelson. He is able to conveye wonderful thoughts and images in just a few words.

Nelson has done it again! This is another book you will treasure and will want to read over and over. If you read "The Good Fight" -- a very special Haiku -- please know that Mattie is still continuing her fight and loves listening to us read Nelson's verses.
