Dan Baldwin: Comparisons to M*A*S*H and even Catch 22 are inevitable and appropriate. I hope Micheal Green is busy writing a follow up to this hilarious work. Highly recommended!

This book was obviously written by one who was there and experienced everything first hand. Mike Green makes it real and lets those who did not have the good fortune or the bad luck of visiting Nam during the war a most intriquing glimpse into the human side of the experience.

Just read Nicky, sasquach and pink elephants by Mike Green. I served in 3rd recon the same time as Mike and his stories brought back vivid memories . The stories may not hit home to non viet nam veterans , but for those of us who were there it`s a good read. especially Reconners. Ron Armella
