Being a fan of anything 'Sherlock' I commenced reading this with trepidation. Misplaced, I found. Different spin on Sherlock Holmes, one that bears further exploration.

The title had me expecting the mixing of two characters from different authors, when it fact this all occurs nicely in the universe of Sherlock Holmes.

A Sherlock Holmes pastiche in which Holmes is under the care of Dr Watson in a London asylum. Holmes' battle with mental illness provides a nice twist at the end.

I had to go back and re-read a couple of paragraphs of the short story just to make the twist sink in a bit better.
